Old Odeon Colchester Gallery

Outside of working, I love movies, and the Old Odeon Colchester holds a special place in my heart. The Odeon was my regular place to go when I was younger. It always felt like a second home to me, and I also worked there back in 1991-92. I met one of my now best friends whilst working there in Stephen Kerry. As it turns out, I found out that Stephens Father also worked at the Odeon at the same time as my nan, Ivy Spurgeon. Small world eh ? Although the new Odeon is now a good few years old itself, It is totally bland and lacking in character in comparison to the former site in Crouch Street, and as such I now frequent the Clacton Cinema which not only is considerably better value for money the cinema in Colchester, but it feels more like a cinema.
