About

Just trying to better myself for mine and my childrens future.

My name is Jason Spurgeon, and I take great pride in all I do. My philosophy is quite simply, to be kind and helpful to the best of my abilities. While growing my business has been a slow process, I have gotten to the 10 year mark and despite financial constraints, have continually year on year increased my customer base. Most of my new customers this year have been as a result of word of mouth which is fantastic. My priority for next year is to try and get myself a van or at least try to start saving to buy one. My part time job for the local council has been going very well for almost 2 years now and is most helpful when my gardening jobs wind down a little in the winter time. My children are the reason I’m the person I am today, and working for myself enables me to have the essential time I want, to be there for them, however being teens now means hanging around with Dad is not really a priority for them. It does mean I can work more however. As I have a high percentage of pensioners as regular customers I’m more than happy to have a cuppa and a chat in addition to the work I do for them. My customers are important and I value each and every one. I also still can do video transfer work which was on my other website, but for financial reasons took the site down this year, and at some point will merge that site with this one. The idea work initially wise was to concentrate on the video stuff during the winter months to compensate for the loss of work on the gardening side when the gardening season winds down. However with my council job something needed to take a bit of a back seat for a while.
