Alresford Creek

Alresford (Essex)

I live in the village of Alresford and have done since 2012. I was a volunteer at the Alresford Youth Project for a few years not that long after I moved here, and for the last two years have been employed part time as the Alresford Parish Council handyman. I try to go along to monthly Parish council meetings as i feel it’s useful to know what happening in the village especially given my role as handyman. When my children were younger we would often be down the park, or going for walks or bike rides over Cockaynes wood or down to the creek. As any village does, Alresford has had it’s fair shair of new houses popping up over the years, and hasn’t as yet managed to impact Cockaynes Wood or the creek for places to go.
